Through visual direction, costumes and set design, Marie Cantenys and Margaux Lalanne develop visual narratives for the dance and art world. The two Central Saint Martins graduates have built on their fashion background to explore and define new relationships between body, garment and space.

Their work premiered at world-renowned venues such as the Barbican Centre and Sadler's Wells Theatre in London, the Centre George Pompidou in Paris, or in Al-'Ula (Saudi Arabia). Their collaborators include internationally acclaimed artists, choreographers and institutions such as Tim Yip, Akram Khan and the English National Ballet.

 

Alongside their studio practice, Marie Cantenys is a leather good designer for Louis Vuitton, and Margaux Lalanne is textile designer and head of atelier at Studio Orta.
